Thursday – Chocolate Sparkle cookie

“Fra-gee-lay” These must be Italian cookies.

So, we couldn’t quite get the temperature right.  Or the timing.  Or the consistency of the dough.  They had to be cooled so that the dough was firm (we put it in the freezer), but you had to work so quickly otherwise it would get too soft too quickly.  Then the first couple of tries came out of the oven sticking to the cookie sheet.  By the third batch, Linda decided to use parchment paper because I had mangled most of the cookies trying to get them off of the cookie sheet.

Well, with all those busted bits of cookies, there was only one thing to do.  Really, they were just small bits of cookies.  And chocolate.  So I ate them.  Probably the equivalent of about five total cookies if they had not disintigrated.  Good thing I went with sweat pants tonight.
