The World’s Best Candy Bar

Everyone knows that the Nut Goodie, made by the Pearson candy company of Saint Paul, Minnesota, is the World’s Best Candy Bar.  Who knew that, as a part of the celebration that is “Holiday Stuffing 2009,” we’d get to make them at home?

This recipie required re-reading.  Do they really mean that we’re supposed to use one-and-one-half pounds of milk chocolate?  And one full cup of butter?  And two pounds of powdered sugar?  Yes, they mean it.  All that magically prepared by Chief Cookie Chef Linda equals 7.5 pounds of confectionary goodness.  I am not going to share these, so don’t even ask.  The weekend has arrived; that means that I’ll have a direct hand in the preparation of the next two days’ worth of madness.  I can’t wait.

Lindsay and friends can confirm that the Nut Goodie is the World's Greatest Candy Bar

  1. I had the candy bar cookie this morning. Snarfed it right down. VERY good. And I’m assuming that the water I had with it will cancel out any calories that MAY have been in the cookie/bar! Since I haven’t started my holiday baking yet, I’ll live vicariously though you. 🙂
