Two batches, Two Goals, Two Points

What a fun night!  The middle son is home from college for the weekend.  The Chief Cookie Chef had the day off so decided to make TWO different batches of cookies – the cookie-a-day recipe AND a batch of Ginger Snaps.  AND the Wild and Flames played one of the best, most fun to watch games of the season, which ended with a Minnesota victory.  WOW!  Marty Havlat of the Wild, obviously inspired by the festivities surrounding “Holiday Stuffing 2009,” is really playing well lately.  (wild.com for tickets…some really great home games coming up)

So, the cookie-of-the-day is the Maple Pecan, and it is tasty.  I really think the middle son decided to come home this weekend because he’s been following “Holiday Stuffing 2009”  online and figured he’d better get here and get some of this before they were all gone.  Enjoy the pics.
